ABOUT ME
Before moving into dog care and training, I spent several years managing fine-dining restaurants and grew up in my family’s restaurant in Austria. Working in hospitality gave me a strong ability to read people, communicate clearly and adapt to individual needs, skills that are just as valuable when working with dogs and their humans.
My approach to dog care and training is centred around your dog’s happiness, fulfilment and individual needs. I focus on building a strong relationship between human and dog, using reward-based methods alongside calm, clear communication, consistent training and fair boundaries. I believe this combination helps create happy, confident dogs and trusting relationships. I have developed a particular passion for working with rescue, reactive and nervous dogs, and I have a soft spot for shepherds of all kinds.

SERVICES
1:1 DOG WALKS
Limited availability.
Your dog will be collected from your home at a time that suits you, with walks tailored to their needs and preferences around your local area.
From £22 per hour
2-hour adventure walks in a local country park are available on request.
DROP-IN VISITS
Available to existing clients only.
I’ll check in on your pup and make sure they have everything they need while you’re out. You can focus on your day, knowing you’ll come home to a happy dog.
Visits are tailored to your dog’s routine.
From £22 per hour
OVERNIGHT SITTING
Available to existing clients only.
I’ll keep your dog company while you’re on holiday, so they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for.
Stays can include feeding, walks, playtime, training, and more, based on your dog’s needs and routine.
From £80 a day
An additional fee of £10/h per extra dog from the same household applies and
a £5/h supplement for weekend services.
MANTRAILING
What is Mantrailing?
Mantrailing is a fun, low-impact dog sport where your dog learns to track down “missing” people by following their unique scent trail.
The “missing person” leaves behind an item carrying their scent (such as a hat), hides, and your dog is then asked to find them using their incredible nose.
But mantrailing is much more than just a fun activity, it’s one of the best ways to mentally stimulate your dog and give them a sense of purpose and fulfilment. All dogs naturally want to follow their nose, and at The Mantrailing Club, my workshops tap into this instinct in a safe and structured way. The result is a confidence-building experience that strengthens the bond between you and your dog, as you become the person giving them access to what they love most... using their natural hunting instincts!
Mantrailing is dog-led. It gives your dog the opportunity to take the lead, make decisions, problem-solve, and enjoy a break from everyday life in a human-focused world. You and your dog get to spend quality time outdoors together, alongside other like-minded teams.
Who is it for?
Mantrailing is suitable for dogs of all ages, breeds, and abilities. Nervous or reactive dogs are very welcome. Every trail is adapted to suit your dog’s individual needs, making sessions inclusive and pressure-free.

Introduction Workshops
Step into the exciting world of Mantrailing with The Mantrailing Club's Introduction Workshop!
No previous experience or training needed. Everyone is welcome.
I’ll guide you through all the basics to help you and your dog get started on what just might become your new favourite hobby.
You'll receive a certificate (plus an adorable dog bandana!) and become a certified Mantrailing Global team, ready to trail with instructors worldwide.

Progress Sessions
You have been to a Mantrailing Global Introduction Workshop and are ready to take the next step?
Join my supportive community of passionate Mantrailing enthusiasts and continue developing your skills through regular progress sessions.
These sessions are open to dogs of all experience levels and are designed to keep you and your dog learning, growing, and enjoying the journey together.
Up to 4 dog-owner teams.
£30 per dog
1:1 Sessions
Perfect for anyone wanting a tailored experience or a more flexible schedule.
Whether you’re just starting out, want to support a reactive dog, or are ready to level up your skills, these sessions are designed around you and your dog.
You’ll get focused guidance at a pace, time, and location that works best for both of
you.

Kathrin has been my dog's walker and sitter for some time now. My dog Lessie is a rescue dog, he used to be a street dog back in North Macedonia. Because of his past Lessie finds it difficult to trust people but with Kathrin he felt very comfortable since the beginning. Lessie often struggles to walk due to his old age but Kathrin is always able to use strategies to make him walk longer distances. Kathrin looked after Lessie at my house during my holiday, and I left knowing that Lessie was in very good hands. Kathrin also looked after my house and kept it very clean and tidy.
